Antknee's Aquaponics Blog

Sustainability: for a solution to be truly sustainable and good it must have a positive impact on the environment and society. Impact is at the underlying basis of any design problem and therein lies a question: are we simply trying to make something less bad, or are we striving to make things better? It's not just about solving for the negative impact. it's about creating a positive impact instead.

I am a 46 year old father of 5 children who' s age range from 22 to 9 years of age, I am a retired/disabled Vet, I moved to Kansas 13 years ago to get away from the hustle, bustle of California life, I enjoyed the slower pace that Kansas offered but after years of Tornado warnings including losing my home to a tornado in 2008 we decided to move to Arizona in 2015 to the smallish town of Prescott Valley which is just about a mile high above sea level.in early 2017 we Moved to the Seattle and are having a blast, my hobbies include taking photos, aquaponic gardening, vemiculture, cooking and reading, tinkering on old bikes and Ford trucks.
